At CeBIT trade show Asus demonstrated its G74Sx gaming notebook. The latest addition in Asus's Republic of Gamers (ROG) family is a 3D gaming rig designed for hard-core gamers. The G74Sx uses the latest Intel ‘Huron River’ Core i5 and i7 processors, and boast of high-end NVIDIA graphics card supporting NVIDIA 3D Vision.
The lappie features 17.3-inch full HD 120Hz display, DDR3 memory, large capacity hard drive or solid state drive, Blu-ray drive, WiFi, USB 3.0, and HDMI 1.4.
The G74Sx also comes equipped with a unique thermal management system that uses two intelligent fans to cool the CPU and GPU, while also drawing cool air through vents at the front of the case and expels warm air through the rear to keep the system cool and comfortable. The case is designed for easy upgrades too, and offers quick access to the dual internal hard drive bays and memory slots.
No word on pricing, but with these high-end features it'll easily cost around $1,000.
