It has an AC adapter and will run on four AA batteries away from home.When plugged into the AC outlet, the On Tour IBT will charge the iPhone or iPad via a USB port built in. The device also has a mic integrated to it can be used as a speaker phone. The speaker is a two-channel stereo offering and has four JBL Odyssey neodymium transducers inside. The four speakers produce a 360-degree sound stage. The speaker uses optimized DSP equalization and it is engineered for quality sound.
